Data Deletion
Last updated: 2026-04-19You can delete your KeepGrid data at any time. Here's how, and exactly what gets removed.
Quick path: Email ops@keepgrid.net from the email you used with KeepGrid. We'll confirm + delete within 72 hours. Legally-required records (Stripe receipts for tax purposes) are retained per applicable law and never used for any other purpose.
What You Can Delete
1. Your KeepGrid account + all projects
Send us an email titled "Data Deletion Request" from your account email. We will:
- Delete your user record, sessions, and all associated projects.
- Delete all generated documents.
- Delete any install progress logs and server snapshots.
- Anonymize Stripe billing records (keep amount + date for legal purposes, remove email link).
- Send confirmation with a timestamp once complete.
Timeline: within 72 hours of request verification. Immediate in most cases.
2. Remove the Discord bot from your server
This is separate from account deletion and you can do it yourself instantly:
- Open your Discord server settings.
- Go to Integrations.
- Find KeepGrid and click Remove.
The bot leaves immediately. Channels, roles, and pinned messages that the bot created remain in your server — they belong to you. Delete them manually if you don't want them.
3. Roll back everything the bot installed
Launching in the Installer 2.0 release. Will offer a one-click button that removes every channel, role, and pinned message KeepGrid created, returning your server to its pre-install state. Track progress at /changelog.

Self-Serve Deletion (Coming Soon)
We're building a dashboard button: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Will be available in the next release. Until then, email is the path.
Partial Deletion
Want to keep your account but delete one specific project? Email us and specify the project ID from your dashboard URL (the part after /dashboard/). We'll delete just that project within 24 hours.
Discord Data
We don't store Discord messages, voice data, or member lists — so there's nothing to delete on that side. The only Discord-related data we keep is:
- Your user ID (from OAuth login)
- Guild IDs of servers you've installed into
- Guild names/icons (for display only)
All three are covered under account deletion.
